Robert Gagne's nine events of instruction are very helpful in coming up with a teaching process. It is the "bare bones" model of teaching but people can use it for a tentative lesson plan. This could help the teacher make a more interesting and well planned lesson that the children will be engaged in.
We also learned about the three types of interactions: student to student, instructor to student, and student to content. It is important to incorporate all of these factors into the classroom. This will keep the students engaged and they will benefit more from each lesson.
Making a Prezi would cover several of the ISTE student standards. It covers standard one, creativity and innovation. It would cover section B by the presentation being an original piece by the teacher for the classroom. It also covers section C because models and simulations will be used to go over concepts. The prezi could also cover sectionD because it could include different trends.
